Set Up Invoice Templates
Navigation:
Dashboard → Settings → Invoice Editor
The Invoice Editor allows you to customize invoice templates that control what information appears on customer invoices after work is completed. This helps ensure invoices are accurate, compliant, and professionally presented.

Create an Invoice Template
Click Create New to build a new invoice template.
Enter the Template Name. You can also make it the Default template.

Control visibility for:
Basic Information (visit type, service advisor, mileagein, mileage out, extras with vehicle)
Customer Details (customer name, email, phone number, company, address, USDOT number, PST number, VAT RG number)
Vehicle Details (vehicle make, model year, engine, license plate, VIN, unit number, MC number)
Jobs (item description, item part & supply number, price, QTY/hrs, discount, tax, total)
Job Totals (labor, parts & supplies, miscellaneous, discount, tax, total amount)
Grand Total (grand totals, total parts & supplies, total labor, total miscellaneous, sub total, total discount, total tax, labor tip)

Work in Progress Notes
Signatures
Once configured, review the preview and click Save.
Your invoice template will be available when generating invoices.
On the Invoice Editor screen, you can edit the template by clicking on the pencil icon next to Template Name.
Set Up Estimate Templates
Navigation:
Dashboard → Settings → Estimator Editor
The Estimate/Estimator Editor allows you to customize estimate templates that control what customers see before approval. This helps set clear expectations around pricing, scope, and authorization.

Create an Estimate Template
Click Create New to build a new estimate template.
Enter the Template Name. You can also make it the Default template.

Control visibility for:
Basic Information (visit type, service advisor, mileage in)
Customer Details (customer name, email, phone number, company, address, USDOT number, PST number, VAT RG number)
Vehicle Details (vehicle make, model year, engine, license plate, VIN, unit number, MC number)
Estimate Date
Jobs (item description, price, QTY/hrs, discount, tax, total)
Job Total (labor, parts & supplies, miscellaneous, discount, tax, total amount)
Grand Total (total labor, total parts & supplies, total miscellaneous, sub total, total discount, total tax, estimated total)

After reviewing the preview, click Save to finalize the template.
Your estimate template will be available when creating estimates.
On the Estimate/Estimator Editor screen, you can edit or delete the template by clicking on the icons next to Template Name.

Navigation:
Dashboard → Settings → Inspection Editor
The Inspection Editor allows you to customize inspection templates that control how inspection results are shared with customers through inspection links and reports.

Click Create New to build a new inspection template.
Enter the Template Name. You can also make it the Default template.

Control visibility for:
Basic Information (mileage out, visit type, service advisor, extras with vehicles)
Customer Details (customer name, phone number, email, company, address, USDOT number, PST number)
Vehicle Details (vehicle make, vehicle model, model year, engine size, license plate, VIN, unit number, MC number)
RO Details (RO number, date created, service writer, assigned mechanics)
Technician Concerns (cause (findings), corrections (recommendations), measurements, customer notes, images)
Inspection Breakdown (mechanic, cause (findings), corrections (recommendations), measurements, customer notes, images, hide OK (green) tasks, hide N/A (gray) tasks)

Review the preview and click Save to apply the template.
Your inspection template will be available when sharing inspections with customers.
On the Inspection Editor screen, you can edit or delete the template by clicking on the icons next to Template Name.
FAQs
Yes. You can create multiple templates for each editor and choose the appropriate one based on customer type, job complexity, or internal workflow.
No. Template changes apply only to new invoices, estimates, or inspections created after the update.
The Estimator Editor controls pre-approval documents, the Invoice Editor controls finalized billing, and the Inspection Editor controls inspection visibility and presentation.
