The Advanced Template allows shops to build structured digital vehicle inspections using configurable groups and tasks. Groups represent major inspection sections such as brakes, suspension, or drivetrain, while tasks define the specific inspection checks technicians perform within each group.
To add a group, click Add New Group. Enter the Group Title.

When enabled, all tasks within the group must be completed before the inspection can be marked as completed in the Repair Order.
This option allows you to save the entire group structure as a reusable template. Saved group templates can be quickly added to other inspection templates to maintain consistency across inspections.
Removes the selected inspection group and all tasks within it from the template. This is useful when restructuring or removing unnecessary inspection sections.
Allows you to insert preconfigured tasks from previously saved task templates. This helps reuse standardized inspection logic without creating tasks from scratch.
Adds a new inspection task within the selected group. Each task defines a specific inspection check that technicians will perform during the vehicle inspection.
An inspection group is a section within the template that organizes related inspection tasks under a specific vehicle system. Common examples include groups such as Brakes, Suspension, Drivetrain, or Cooling System, helping technicians follow a structured inspection workflow during the Repair Order.
Yes. A single Advanced Template can contain multiple inspection groups. Shops typically create groups based on major vehicle systems to ensure inspections cover all key components in a logical sequence.
When Mandatory Group is enabled, technicians must complete all tasks within that group before submitting the inspection in the Repair Order. This ensures that critical inspection sections are not skipped during the inspection process.
Yes. Using Save Group as a template, you can store the entire group structure and reuse it when creating other inspection templates. This helps maintain consistent inspection standards across different services or vehicle types.
