    FAQs

What is a Simple Inspection Template?

A Simple Inspection Template provides a basic inspection checklist structure using groups and tasks. It is designed for shops that prefer a traditional inspection workflow without advanced automation features.

What information does the Inspection Templates table display?

The Inspection Templates table provides a quick overview of all templates created in the system. It displays the Inspection Title, Total Groups, Total Tasks, Created By, and Status of each template. The table also includes an Action column that allows users to Edit, Delete, Duplicate, or Print a template. This overview helps shops quickly manage and organize their inspection structures.

Can I search or filter inspection templates?

Yes. The Inspection Templates page includes filtering options to help locate templates quickly. You can use the Search field to find templates by name, the Status filter to view templates based on whether they are Active or Inactive, and the Created By filter to locate templates created by specific users in the system.

Can I deactivate an inspection template?

Yes. Inspection templates can be set to Active or Inactive from the Inspection Templates page. When a template is inactive, it remains saved in the system but will not appear as an option when creating inspections inside Repair Orders.

Can I duplicate an inspection template?

Yes. The Duplicate option in the Action column allows you to create a copy of an existing template. This is useful when you want to reuse a template structure and make adjustments without modifying the original template.
